Halloween Highlights

Dancing at home (yesterday):Dancing at daycare (today):Naomi with her teachers and some of her classmates after the parade:
The "Turtles" class (Naomi's class) coming out of the school for a halloween parade. The kids all made fall-themed costumes (the turtles are trees...can you tell? They painted the bags themselves.), and paraded over to 5th Ave and up to the Guggenheim building at Mount Sinai. It was very cute. Some other cute costumes (scarecrows):We had some extra pumpkins left over from our party last weekend, so we made some sesame street characters out of them last night (Matt actually helped a lot, as did Naomi, but I did the faces). Can you tell who is who? Naomi could. Then this evening we went trick or treating in our building with some friends. Zainab, Samuel and Naomi (I know they look completely morose in this picture, but they did have a good time, they just weren't in the mood to pose, apparently):Naomi did not really catch on to the idea of accumulating candy. She just wanted to eat a piece of candy once she got it, and didn't want to take any more candy until she was finished with the previous piece. The upside: we only came home with one piece of candy. The downside: this doesn't count all the candy she and I ate.
