Good Weekend

In spite of exams, we had a nice weekend the weekend before last. Sarah was in town for a track invitational, and my dad came to watch her (and see Naomi, of course). I had to study a fair amount during the weekend, but we all went to see Sarah run on Saturday (she set a new PI, and was awesome!) up at the Armory and Track Hall of Fame in Washington Heights (by Columbia), then ate at Starbucks. Naomi and my dad also went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and then to one of the great west-side playgrounds in Central Park earlier that morning (it was actually pretty warm that weekend, though it has gone back to being a little bit colder). Apparently my dad made up stories about each of the paintings for Naomi, and Naomi really liked the story about the girl who was taking a bath (a naked Renoir), so they got a postcard which Naomi kept faithfully with her at all times--at home, at daycare, you name it) for a couple of days. Then on Sunday we went to brunch at the Corner Bakery after church. I really love their salmon burgers, by the way. Anyway. It was a quick visit, but very fun!
