In part, though, this is just due to Naomi's overall very good-natured personality as a baby. She's perfectly happy nearly everywhere we take her (even restaurants and the occasional office hours...). Her favorite toy appears to be a gatorade bottle that invariably rolls just out of her reach every time she touches it--perfect(!) for a baby who's recently learned how to scoot. She never cries in the stroller, rarely cries at home unless she's hungry, smiles ecstatically at strangers who smile at her first, and is a very happily curious kid.
Though she slept hardly at all for the first day and a half or so of this cold, Naomi is doing a lot better today, and slept fantastically last night. This week Matt has finals Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and my first final is on Friday, so the improvement in sleep is well appreciated.
Naomi getting ready to eat. Day four of "solid foods", Naomi moved on to green beans, which she liked much better than rice cereal. She actually ate almost half a jar, though the next day she was sick and spit up a ton after two bites (granted, she did have a fever then...)
A "picnic" at the school cafeteria with friends. We'd planned on picnicking outside, but it rained and was cold.
