Naomi took 8 steps today before running into a toy in her room. Does this mean she "is walking"? Probably not until she is predominately choosing to walk rather than crawl, but I am never quite clear on these types of definitions. She cannot walk in shoes.
Naomi also climbs now, occasionally. Waves hello and goodbye, says "uh-oh", "wow", and "yay" appropriately, sometimes mimicking, sometimes unprompted (and sometimes randomly). Also "uh-UH", as in "NO", mimicking. And she signs "more milk", "more food", etc. She is still a very tall, chubby kid, still excessively cheerful and social. She prefers the sandbox among the various attractions to be found at the park. And she now has four teeth (the second two just broke through yesterday).
